Part P is part of the new electrical safety law that applies to England and Wales.  It aims to improve electrical safety in the home and prevent accidents caused by faulty electrical work.  The law requires that an electrician has to be registered with a Government-approved scheme, such as ELECSA, to carry out most domestic electrical work.
After completion of the work, we will issue you with a Building Regulation Compliance Certificate to prove the work meets the required standards of Part P.
Unsafe electrics can cause serious accidents and house fires.  Domestic electrics should be checked every 10 years for damage/wear and tear (or for Landlords, testing should be carried out at every change of tenancy).  Periodic Inspection is an electrical survey that looks for possible electric shock risks and fire hazards.
We can provide a Periodic Inspection Report to identify any risks, and give an idea of the condition of the electrics, recommending any work that needs to be done.
